Chicken Soup - Finding My Faith

My honorarium books arrived! Earlier this year Chicken Soup announced a writing opportunity for their Finding My Faith book. What perfect timing! In today's tough times, people around the world have endured great loss, and many are looking for faith answers.

I remembered when I experienced tough times of my own, times when I faced loss, despair and failure, times I wanted to give up. Instead, I cried out to God and He answered in a way that changed my life. My story is one of 101 heart-moving, life changing stories in Chicken Soup's Finding My Faith book, which will be released October 16, 2012, in paperback or Kindle format.

Lord Jesus, I pray that this book will touch hearts and lives for You. May Your Holy Spirit use the inspirational stories about life, belief and spiritual renewal to demonstrate your amazing love. Amen.

Looks like a very encouraging book to boost the faith for those many in need at this time. That is a great picture of you with the book, too.

Blessings, Janice

Please pray for Mandy. There is turmoil in her workplace. I spoke with her after prayer service tonight. She is taking breaks to cry during work hours. It has reached the point where there is a physical and mental impact away from work as well. She knows not to take it on alone though. I'm going to keep a close watch on her. She may be forced into the income for health trade off that everyone does all they can to avoid. We don't seem to know our own breaking point.

I appreciate each and every comment. Your encouragement means more than you know. Thank you for the prayer request, Steven. I am praying for Mandy. I remember similar days at work--stress so intense it burst out in tears way too often.
